It is said that the QR Code system will be used to pay for the YBS bus lines operating in Yangon Division.

At present, YBS vehicles have YPS (Yangon-Bus Payment System) card system; There are payment systems in place, and plans are afoot to add a QR code scanning payment system.

YBS buses use the card system (YPS), but not all bus lines have been installed yet, and about 2,000 buses on 36 bus lines have YPS card systems. In addition, some bus companies that charge higher fares are currently collecting money from their followers.

At present, all vehicles are being prepared to operate in accordance with the system and in accordance with the regulations set by the Central Bank of Myanmar.
